Hi, I’m Lyrian Fleming, and I’m a writer with a particular love for international development.
In my day job I speak to around 10,000 Australians a year about poverty and the role of women and girls in breaking the poverty cycle for CARE Australia.
I found my way to CARE via my year as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development in Bangladesh, where I blogged about my experiences.
I worked for CARE Bangladesh on Women’s Empowerment, Income Generation, and Health Care. And I loved it.
Now you can find me in Melbourne, mostly. This blog is about my attempts to ‘be the change’.
